Christ never let anything that happened take His focus off of serving His Father. Our Father through Paul speaks to us in this passage, and He tells us that our attitude should be the same as that of Christ. He does’t say sometimes; he doesn’t say on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Through it all, we are to have His attitude. When the world mistreats us (His attitude), when we get what we want (His attitude), when we lose (His attitude), always (His attitude).

After we have received Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we should concentrate on Philippians 2:5. There are so many things out there that we focus on, but I’m saying to focus on one thing: having the attitude of Christ. If you as a Christian will do just that in all things in your life, imagine how the world will see us.

P 2:5 Exists to glorify Christ. We do this by submitting to His will in our life. We study the Bible weekly, and then we seek to apply what we learn in our day to day lives. This is to allow those around us to see Christ living in and through us with the hopes that they will be drawn to a relationship with our Savior.

We meet in the Storehouse on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and on Wednesday nights at 6:30.

Several ideas were thrown out on the table, and then Chris said “What about a domino?”. At first, I wasn’t sure, but as I thought back to the verse, the light bulb lit up.

A little about our logo for P 2:5 Student Ministries: You may remember as a kid lining up dominoes and then knocking them over. In fact the definition of the Domino Effect is as follows: a chain reaction that occurs when a small change causes a similar change nearby, which then will cause another similar change, and so on in liner sequence.

What a concept: If I strive to have the attitude of Christ, a change will definitely occur in me causing a change in those around me which in turn will cause a change in those near to them and so on. That’s just how it happens; we allow Christ to take over the driver’s seat, and those changes start to occur.
