Therefore welcome one another, just as Christ also welcomed you, to the glory of God.

Mission Trips

As a mission-minded church, we strive to find ways to reach others in our community and in other countries around the world. In addition to supporting mission efforts through the North American Mission Board and International Mission Board, we also have ministries and mission projects completed by our own body of believers.

Below you can explore upcoming mission trips.

Powdersville First Baptist Church’s mission effort is encompassed by the idea behind UN1SON. In short, UN1SON stands for multiple congregations partnering together in unison for the glory of 1 Son (Jesus Christ).

Our congregation partners with other congregations from around the world to fulfill the charge that Jesus gives in Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

2024 Verse:  “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” – Philippians 2:3-4 NIV
