About Us
Living, Learning, and Loving is the mission statement for PFBC. We strive to Learn what Christ Taught, Live as Christ Lived, and Love as Christ Loved in our daily lives.
PFBC is a very missions-minded church with opportunities from here in our community to around the world for Christ followers to live out their faith.
These Christ followers are prepared to love as Christ loved through the faithful teaching of God’s Word. We place a high value on the inerrancy of scripture and belief that it is what we need to learn as our guide to being more and more Christ-like in our daily life.
Our Beliefs
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant and inspired Word of God and the basis of any statement of faith. “The Baptist Faith & Message”, a statement of faith adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on June 14, 2000, serves as our official statement of faith. What Should I Expect?
When we come together for our worship time we offer a blended style of music from contemporary to traditional. On any given week there will be a choir, praise team, group, or soloist helping to lead us into true authentic worship.
We are blessed to have those who use their musical talents on the piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, viola, etc to aid our worship time from week to week.
From state-of-the-art security to keep you safe, childcare workers that have been through our background screening process, to teachers that faithfully teach the word of God you and your family from the youngest to the oldest will be cared for while you are with us.
There is a large welcome center as you enter our auditorium that has information about our church, upcoming events, and ways that you can go deeper in your journey of faith with Christ.
There will be some each week that chose to wear a suit and tie, jeans and a shirt, dresses, dress pants, etc. Our only expectation is that whatever clothing a person decides to wear that it be modest and respectful of those that may be around them.
Our time at PFBC is to be spent focusing on Jesus and not on one another because of clothing that may be a distraction to anyone’s worship experience.
When I Arrive
From the time you enter our campus, you will be welcomed by our greeters who can help direct you to where you need to go.
The main entrance to our facility is the large glass atrium area that faces Hwy 153. This set of doors brings you into the foyer that leads directly into our worship facility.
There are large double glass doors at this entrance as well as the drive-through porticos at the side of the building during inclement weather.
Membership
PFBC is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention nationally, the South Carolina Baptist Convention within our state, and the Piedmont Baptist Association locally.
We hold the Baptist Faith and Message and ask that any person desiring membership within our church family ascribe to this statement of faith.
